Christy is the face behind Clover Therapeutic Wellness Centre As the owner, operator and an RMT with over 20 years of clinical Massage Therapy experience, she has a continued thirst for knowledge to add to her list of accomplishments and wanted to raise the bar by creating a warm, inviting and tranquil clinic, offering the best in massage therapy services to the Niagara community. Christy graduated in 2003 from the esteemed Canadian College of Massage & Hydrotherapy (CCMH) in Toronto Ontario and is a long-standing member of the CMTO (College of Massage Therapist of Ontario) and the RMTAO (Registered Massage Therapists’ Association of Ontario). She has worked in multi-disciplinary clinics and wellness centres throughout most of her career, alongside chiropractors and physiotherapists. In 2015 Christy and her husband along with their young son, relocated from Brampton to Niagara Falls Ontario in search of calmer lifestyle. In addition to providing Swedish Massage Therapy, Christy has enhanced her skills by completing additional courses and is certified in providing; Cupping Therapy (+ Facial Cupping) Hot Stone Massage Gua Sha (Muscle Shraping) Acupuncture Aromatherapy Massage Christy has extensive knowledge working with patients suffering from MVA’s and enjoys treating patients of all ages and ailments such; as whiplash, sciatica and fibromyalgia. However, she has taken a special interest in treating individuals suffering from back and neck injuries as well as helping those suffering from chronic headaches, migraines and those dealing with stress and tension. She loves incorporating a variety of techniques from Eastern and Western medicines into a single treatment to give her clients the best possible outcome. She has even been known to put clients to sleep during a relaxation massage and considers it to be a great compliment! Christy is passionate about educating her clients on the importance of proper self care, such as; stretching, sleep posture, foot care and the correct use of hydrotherapy, to help improve their health goals and quality of life. Christy looks at communication and understanding as the key components to successful massage therapy treatments and results. Every patient is unique, with their own set of concerns and goals, therefore, no two massage treatments are alike. It is extremely important to her that every client leaves their massage appointment feeling their best and with a positive outlook. Christy is excited to have opened Clover Therapeutic Wellness Centre and looks forward to meeting and helping patients from the Niagara community reach their health goals through therapeutic touch.
